Daily Post reports that Fulani herdsmen have killed seven people in an attack on Tse Atue community in Guma local government area of Benue state.
This attack by the gunmen, who stormed the village on Monday left many residents deserting their community as houses were reportedly burnt in the process.
As at the time of filing this report, it was gathered that many residents had already fled their residents for fear of being lynched or shot dead by the rampaging herdsmen.
This is not the first time that the cattle rustlers have attacked Benue state, as they recently attacked Agatu community and left many people dead and several others displaced.
The federal government has been charged to do something drastic about the havoc being wreaked by the herdsmen and despite the fact that President Muhammadu Buhari recently declared war against them, they have continued to terrorise communities.
