President Muhammadu Buhari was pictured with his wife, Aisha and his handsome son Yusuf as they celebrate Eid Mubarak.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo also joined the first family in their celebrations. Earlier President Buhari joined other Muslim faithfuls to take part in Eid el-Fitr prayers held at Mambilla Barracks, Abuja. He also received some dignitaries who came to pay him Sallah homage at the Aso Rock villa.
The president told his visitors that Nigeria’s unity is not negotiable. The militants in the Niger Delta region and the pro-Biafra activists call on the Federal government to organize referendum to decide the fate of Nigeria.
The Niger Delta Avengers has claimed responsibility for series of bombing of oil and gas installations in the region and they have vowed to continue causing havoc until the economy collapses.
President Buhari promised to find the lasting solutions to Nigeria’s problems and restated his commitment in the fight against corruption.
