"I'm not interested in taking Terra Kulture to other African cities"

When it comes to culture and entertainment facilities in Nigeria, Terra Kulture ranks high up on the list.

Attracting visitors both from within and outside the country, Terra Kulture offers food, art, theatre, books and even a reading room all in a cosy Afrocentric inspired environment.

But inspite of its huge success, owner and founder, Bolanle Austen-Peters has said she's not interested in replicating this model anywhere else.

She revealed this at the ongoing Lagos Social Media Week 2016, where she served as a panelist for "Driving Tourism...The African Story" hosted by urban clothing line, Lagos Laidbac.

Austen-Peters who said she has been approached by people from all over Africa said rather than duplicate Terra Kulture in other places by herself, she's willing to sell the franchise to people who can then go ahead to recreate the cultural centre. According to her, she and her team have come as far as they have because they haven't gotten greedy.

Said Austen-Peters:

"We are very good at what we do because we haven't gotten greedy. Terra Kulture is open to franchising but I'm not going anywhere else"
