Why Great Leaders Need FRESH Ideas?

Although, it may be, apparently, the easiest, path of least resistance, and require less effort and stress/ resistance, if you want to be, a truly great leader, one must avoid, being fearful, and bound, by the restrictions of any self - imposed, comfort zone, and take the time, and make it one's priority, to fully consider options and alternatives, goals and priorities, relevance and sustainability, and introduce/ use, FRESH ideas.

While, doing otherwise, may seem easier, true, effective leadership means, following this process and procedure. With that in mind, this article will, briefly, attempt to, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means, and why it's so important.

1. Future; fruition; face facts; functions: Begin by considering, the reasons and functions for your strategic and action plans, by facing facts, and prioritizing, bringing the finest solutions, for the future, to fruition!

2. Responsive; realistic; rationale; responsibility; relevant: What good, is any strategy, unless/ until, it's truly relevant? One's ideas must be responsive to the needs, goals, priorities, and perceptions, of his group, and constituents! It serves no good,
for anyone or anything, unless/ until, his approach is realistic! Great leaders assume personal responsibility for their actions, and proactively, articulate their reasoning and rationale, in an inspiring, motivating manner!

3. Energy; empathy; emphasis; excellence; enduring: Great leaders make an enduring difference, for the better! They possess, a level of personal energy, and a willingness to effectively listen, and learn, from every conversation and experience, in order to develop the expertise, judgment, and wisdom, which is based on genuine empathy! One's primary emphasis must be, on providing the utmost degree of personal excellence, rather than settling for good - enough!

4. Sustainable; system; service; solutions: Achieving quality and greatness, means focusing on both, relevance, and sustainability! Everything, he does, must deliver the level of service, his organization, and stakeholders, need and deserve!

A leader's system must seek viable solutions, and he must never resort to blaming and complaining, about others (or luck/ bad fortune), and take personal responsibility.

5. Healing; head/ heart: You can recognize a real leader, by, whether, he emphasizes healing wounds, and bringing people together, with a meeting, of the minds, for the common good!

This, generally, takes, understanding, and using, both one's logical and emotional components, in a head/ heart balance! If you want to lead, take the personal responsibility, to seek, consider, and utilize, FRESH ideas! Do you have what it takes, to make a difference, for the better?
